Its just fucking beautiful here. I can see the appalachians from my hotel and with the changing of the seasons the trees are gorgeous.

Also, there are a lot of hot women here.

I definitely need a camera.

Honestly the great smokes are fucking awesome as are the rivers etc.

The women? Meh are you talking college chicks at UT I hope?

Also I dare you... no double dog dare you to march up down the street in Knoxville on a saturday yelling "I NEED A BLOWJOB ANY VOLUNTEEEEEERSS?" wearing a Gator jersey.

I've fucked three women in TN and they have ALL robbed me.

That stuff is like piss... it's 6 bucks a pitcher around here and that's considered cheeeeaaap.

Stick to the PBR you sissy.

*I'm not shitting you when I say PBR costs more than yuengling. That should tell you something.

Someone drops a PBR, a 100% beer and a Keystone light:

Q: Which one hits the ground first?

Answer: Trick question, nobody drops a PBR.

Stanley Burrell

Q: Blue Ribbon falls in the woods while no one is around, does it make a sound?

A: No. It majestically hovers several feet above the ground and the tree animals worship it.

Stanley Burrell

There is nothing more refreshing than a black & tan made of PBR and Guinness.

Hahaha. Good ole, Johnson City. I trust you're enjoying your time in Erwin and the Tri-Cities? It really is pretty country up there.

And yea... TN pretty much rocks.

Bunch of fucking backwoods hicks in it though.

Been near Knoxville my entire life.

So what should I do or see here? I have TONS of downtime. I went into the office for a whole hour today. I like live alternative/folk music (clutch, grateful dead). Don't know the bar scene here. I prefer small cool college bars to the loud hiphop club horseshit.

Pictures soon to come.

Fucks sake Johnson Town is dangerously close to my ex and children... I mean you're miles near them.

That being said there is all kinds of shit to do. Hit up Knoxville or Greenville Pigeon Forge etc or if you're really interested goto Dolly World just to say you did.

You're smack dab in the middle of the Smokes you can go grab a horse trail or hike or even go fucking rafting.

If I remember correctly you're pretty close to the Carolina's giving tons of skiing options soon enough.

Yea, Asheville is really close to JC/Tri-Cities. Gatlinburgh and the Smokies, not so much.

I'd say either just lounge around JC (there are some pretty cool bars around ETSU; Gatsby's downtown [if it's still there], Sophisticated Otter, or PR's) or make it up to Roan Mountain/the App Trail up there.

Are you sure those are "fuck me" eyes and not "fuck off" eyes?

There's a big difference.

It's not the eye's he should be worried about... it's the teeth.

You probably have alot of experience in the "fuck off" department.

All the women I've run into here have been very attractive. No bucktooth chew-spitters in wheelchairs yet.

Not to knock the tri cities or anything but...

It is the only place in the world I have been hit on by a drunk, gay midget at 8:30 am in the morning.

You should eat at the BBQ place that sits in front of Kroger if you get a chance. I think it is right across the street from ETSU's field house.

Dude.. you said Yuengling beer is awesome.. so it allows me to question your ability to judge any girl and any "eyes" you are supposedly getting.

1) New beer? It's the oldest American brewery.

2) Why the hell are you talking about in a TN thread. It's a PA beer

3) It's terrible and makes you shit uncontrollably. It's for people that haven't realized what good beer tastes like.

HAY.

I'm in Kingsport, TN, getting a little sleep before the last leg of driving all of my belongings to Florida. I got here through Virginia, which totally sucks.

What part of VA did you drive through? Northern VA (the DC megapolis) is starting to look pretty sucky 'cause it's SOOOO overdeveloped, but anywhere in the mountains or rural countryside is gorgeous.

I-81 foreeeeeeeeeever. We were going from Boston, MA to Pensacola, FL. After sitting for most of a day on 95 in NYC, we decided to head west and skip as many major cities after Newark, NJ as possible. So we didn't have to deal with Trenton, Philly, DC, Baltimore, Charleston, or Atlanta, but we did see an awful lot of trees.

My family used to vacation to the Smoky Mountains every year, and I know this is probably the best time of year to make the trip. It was gorgeous. But the most entertaining and rewarding activity was cow-counting.

You dummy. You're supposed to enjoy that scenery; that's my favorite part about heading out to that part of the state (I live in Richmond, so I understand you wanting to avoid I-95). Yeah, not the most in-your-face exciting stuff to look at, but it's a more calming way to get to I-70 to head toward points west of the Appalachians than dealing with the mess around DC.

(PS: Check your PMs if you haven't yet.)
