Having some real issues with connection

So my computer crashed last night and I did manage to get windows to load and it is running ok but for some reason my psinet atlas went to hell. So my friend gives me his newer version of psinet 2.1.2.1873. Well after installing it, my atlas does now work however I can't link to the server.

It says I need to update to 2.2.0.2736 but the update fails.

that is where it is trying to go.

I get the message of the day from 2008 and then it fails to link.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the smart reply. It helped so much and considering my computer system totally died it makes me feel even better! Less than one week to EG and my main computer system is down.

Are you familiar with the windows registry? Your best bet is to scrub the registry of everything psinet/simu, then do a fresh install using this: http://bingweb.binghamton.edu/~bkarker1/SageSetup-beta-2.2.0.2736.msi

Psinet died a few days ago I thought, and still was dead.

Like Durfin said, Lich is much better...I converted from Psinet myself and love it for many reasons
