Just thought I'd let everyone know, since I know some folks on here were looking for one:

https://www.play.net/forums/messages.asp?forum=102&category=16&topic=22&message=2471

Guy's name on the officials is Reroe

MB: 11m silvers.

"a sparkling white imflass greatsword"

+12 Permablessed
The first thing that strikes you about the greatsword is the weight, which is about 10 pounds. In your best estimation, it's worth about 500,000 silvers. You can also tell that there is some type of metal in the structure of the white imflass greatsword.
You sense a faint aura of magic around the white imflass greatsword. You sense that this is some type of holy item. From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the greatsword is as some type of weapon.
It has a bonus of +12 from a normal greatsword, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it requires skill in twohanded weapons to use effectively. It also has some type of special ability, but you can't tell what yet.
The harmonics generated tell you that the greatsword has been blessed for use in the fight against the undead.

What part of the loresong indicates permablessed? Doe holy item mean it's holy for everyone and not just sancted? Or is it the last message about being blessed?

I actually don't think this loresong indicates such. I was just taking the guy's word for it.

I could have a bard sing to my permablessed greataxe for comparison if anyone is concerned.

I'd like to know the loresong messaging.

I'd like to know the loresong messaging.

Okay this just transpired seconds ago:

You quietly whisper to Gnimble, "Could you loresong my permablessed axe and either paste it to me or post in on the PC in the thread that I just started where it has come up?"
>
You remove a double-bladed eonake battle axe from in your mithril alloy harness.
>
Gnimble whispers, "Sure thing."
>
You offer your eonake battle axe to Gnimble, who has 30 seconds to accept the offer. Type CANCEL to prematurely cancel the offer.

>
Gnimble whispers, "Hand it here."

>
Gnimble put a weathered haon coffer in the Gnimble disk.
>
Gnimble has accepted your offer and is now holding a double-bladed eonake battle axe.
>
Gnimble sings something in Gnomish that you don't understand.
The eonake battle axe seems to respond to the magic of Gnimble's song.
Gnimble goes pale, trembles, and nearly drops his eonake battle axe.
>
Gnimble's spirit appears to be lifted by the singing.
A sense of peace and calm resettles over the area.
The mirror images surrounding Gnimble undulate and grow stronger.
Gnimble renews his songs.
>
Gnimble changes his tune, adding a new element to his song...
Gnimble skillfully begins to weave another verse into his harmony.
As Gnimble sings, you sense the mana around him begin to swirl and move with a subtle grace.
>
Gnimble sings something in Gnomish that you don't understand.
The eonake battle axe seems to respond to the magic of Gnimble's song.
>

The eonake battle axe seems to respond to the magic of Gnimble's song.
>

The eonake battle axe seems to respond to the magic of Gnimble's song.
>
Gnimble offers you a double-bladed eonake battle axe. Type ACCEPT to accept the offer or DECLINE to decline it. The offer will expire in 30 seconds.
>
You accept Gnimble's offer and are now holding a double-bladed eonake battle axe.

And the results:

The first thing that strikes you about the axe is the weight, which is about 7 pounds. You tremble and can barely hold onto the eonake battle axe. You estimate it must be worth over a hundred million silvers! You can also tell that there is some type of metal in the structure of the eonake battle axe.

You sense a faint aura of magic around the eonake battle axe. You sense that this is some type of holy item. From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the axe is as some type of weapon.
It has a bonus of +40 from a normal axe, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it requires skill in twohanded weapons to use effectively. It also has some type of special ability, but you can't tell what yet.

The harmonics generated tell you that the axe has been blessed for use in the fight against the undead.

So it's confirmed. Permablessed weapons appear as blessed only in loresong. I think I'm gonna bug that and get it changed if possible.

If you put it in a playershop, it should show up as "Permanently blessed" when gotten after being bard-sung. That's the only sure fire way I know of to confirm a permabless.

Interesting. That means there's already a flag for it, so they should change the bardsong.

Just found this thread. I had the exact same reservations before I bought it. After the bard song gave the weird song as being blessed, I had it spiritually dispelled and then took it out and swung it 1000 times. Never got a holy water flare, never lost the enchant. I'll be glad to do anything to prove that it's real for a prospective buyer.

Yeah, don't worry about it. I believe you. Mine says the same thing.

Here's something someone on the officials just said:

<<The harmonics generated tell you that the axe has been blessed for use in the fight against the undead.>>

This is where it is different from a regular bless as it would say temporaily blessed to fight the undead. Since it doesn't its permanently blessed.

Dunno if it is true.

Mestys fixed it for me, try loresinging again, and you'll see permabless now:

Loresong feedback from permanently blessed items should be more clear now.
