Benefit of elemental lores

For those that have minor (10 ranks) to major investment in elemental lores, do you see substantial or even noticeable difference in your criticals/damage for DC?

I snagged 10 ranks of water to hunt fire mages and I can't honestly tell if it is doing a damn bit of good. Looked all over for information on how much good it is doing but can't find much. Any info would be sweet.

I saw a noticable improvement in my DC. I managed to get +10 to each of the 4 types. In the end, the gains I made to my CS by putting those points in the sorcerer circle far outweighed the benefits of the lores in my mind. Take that for what you will.

Figured I'd give it a shot, but yea, I'm pretty sure the extra CS would still be better. I'm already 36 ranks overtrained in circle, so sad we're forced to do that. Thanks for the input.
