Just so be clear on the cloak...

A) I am told it's 1-way only. True?

B) I am told it's got the same restriction range as a gold ring. True?

I'm interested in the item, so I wanna clarify before I think on offering.

It works exactly like a gold ring. You just don't get navved.

Instead there's a chance to loose spirit.

It's two way, I suppose, though you can only set one location.

Yeah, I do like the fact that he left off instead of being navved it drains spriit. 3/4th spirit iirc. Can kill you if you're one of those people that wrack in the field or have low spirit and use shield/swords.

I guess I should have expected that ...

TBH I didn't even think about the "failure" part because I've never experienced it myself.

I can tell you that it has the same function as a gold ring, except it has Unlimited back and forth between two locations. It also has a long loresong, that will drain spirit.


(Not experienced by myself):
It can fail and result in the loss of Spirit (Up to 3/4?) but it will still teleport you to your location.



I suppose if someone really wanted to they could probably teleport back and forth a couple thousand times and see the failure rate, but like I said, I've yet to experience the failure myself, the only spirit loss I ever had was when I loresung, so I believe it's very small.

You assume too much, I didn't purchase this from Tsin.

I have posted the information that I personally know about the cloak. I use it daily, in combination with my wizard to transport a group of characters through a familiar gate.

I pull up a familiar, tell it to stay, use the cloak to teleport to my location, open a familiar gate and then my group comes through.

The only reason it's up for sale is because I used a fixskills and can now use 740 to teleport my group directly.

I should probably keep it, because they're very difficult to find anymore but I just hate it when toys aren't being used.
