I am looking for a latten-edged invar gorget, or a gorget with slash resistance. Willing to pay and/or trade.

I saw a post by Fallen that said it did, and I trust that he is correct.


"There is an Invar Gorget that was sold off the shelf, and usually pops up for retail for around 1 million silvers. Know that the PLAYER version of Garrote bypasses most player defenses, Plate level armor covering the neck being an exception, but you cannot just wear one metal item. You need to be in full-on plate class armor which covers the neck.

The Gremlock maneuver is just a slashing attack, so if you can slash protection/padding it will help."

Just have a warrior add temp slash resistance to your armor.

Definitely a viable option that wasn't around at the time of that statement. I had Ranil add pierce resistance to my armor, and it works like a charm. You don't even need to remove your armor. The warrior just needs to visit his guild, and retrieve the needed components. Finding a warrior with 200 ranks of Armor Use would be best.

I used one of those invar gorgets. It's ok, but not outstanding.
