This is a magical item, which casts spells from the Arcane sphere. It has 1 charge.

You sense that the bronze square will disintegrate after its last magical charge has been expended.

Jeez, just one charge. LoL

You absolutely don't want more than 1 charge.

I'll give you a second to think about it.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess DS hit from non-shield, non-wand thingy in the off-hand.

If it's like the originals, it attacks everything and everyone in the room with +100 AS and a massive RT.

These new ones are +30, but I think the reason you'd not want to have a second charge is being stuck in RT with the DS reduction from having it in your hand.

Because odds are you're swinging a two handed weapon, and you don't want that shit in your hand when you swing.

DURRR

It's dumb they're not wearable... TWC peps got screwed.

And shield users.

Whenever I use one of these, my AS only increases for the first swing. I'll try and find a log in a bit.

And shield users.
That I see as more intentional ... but yes they got screwed too (and I'm assuming ranged/thrown are screwed, but that goes without saying on thrown)

Yes, it was intentional. When asked about the squares being wearable, Estild responded, "We had considered this, but we wanted to fuck shield and TWC users up the goatass."

it screws THW users also cause it only crumbles AFTER you swing at the critters. If you have an item in your off hand when swinging a THW you take a major hit to AS anyway. I usually have an AS of 500ish. When using the cube my AS was 330ish.

This seems like one of the most retarded and poorly thought out things they have come out with in a long time.

Hopefully an enhancive knowledge item will be released for EG and we can get some imbeddables out there.

So, everybody wins?

Doesn't imbedding an enhancive-knowledge spell strip the fuck out of the enhancive charges?

Yeah, a bit, but it isn't THAT big of a deal. You don't need to make 50 of them, just 5 or so. You can always just have it recharged.

I've never done it, so I can't say for sure, I just remember that being a very strong response when last I brought up imbedding enhancive spells.

How hard would it be to recharge an 18th level non-native spell? 1718 isn't listed as being native to the Wizard circle.

I'm not sure. I used the Divine Shield item to make a ton of imbeds. I made 50+ before I toasted the item.
