Not sure if this is the right forum for Macros...
I'm looking for someone to assist me making a macro with sounds for when a merchant opens up their list and a macro to join the list.
Willing to compensate for your time helping me set them up.
Thanks,
Shimeria

You can't make a macro with sounds. You'll need to get the messaging that a merchant uses when a list is opened, add that to your custom highlights and in that window you will be able to designate a sound. It will not work with all lists, because a lot of merchants open their lists silently (that is, there is no messaging for when it's open). I believe the messaging is usually like: Merchant opens the listname for # signups.
From there, you can either make many macros, one for each listname and hope you get it right, or a couple of macros with all the list names, or a script.
If you want to go with a macro, you'll have to look in the other thread for all the variations of list names. I think it was in kookiegod's EG advice thread. From there, to make a macro in SF, you open the macros window, hit create, press the key that you want to use, then in the "command" line, type in: join listname\r
For multiple listnames: join listname1\rjoin listname2\r etc
You also have the option of join @ which will type in "join" in your command line and you will have to type in the list name and hit enter.
You can also use join \?\r which will open a popup box for you to type in the list name and hit enter.

If you're using lich you can echo something that is attached to a highlight with sound.
