Those of you who have IFC and any of the Sundance channels.
Check out Soldier's Pay on IFC. It's a documentary about the soldiers in Iraq during either Bush's administration.
On Sundance, Unconstitutional. Basically the events in Congress and the White House right after 9-11. There is a lot of coverage of what has happened since the Patriot Act came into affect and how the Bush Administration "switched" copies right before the vote.

I can't comment on Unconstitutional, because I agree that many of Bush's actions post 9-11 are indeed questionable, but as to this concept of documentary, I say this.
If those soldiers are so mistreated, and so badly off, why are they breaking so heavily in favor of Bush? This documentary cannot be telling us all the facts if they aren't pointing out what is directing these people to BACK bush if it only focuses on how miserable they are.

This is what Edwards said about Bush's plan to cut combat pay for soldiers in Iraq.
Edwards: They sent 40,000 American troops into Iraq without the body armor they needed. They sent them without the armored vehicles they needed. While they were on the ground fighting, they lobbied the Congress to cut their combat pay. This is the height of hypocrisy.
and
They said that they supported the troops; and then while our troops were on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan, they went to the Congress and lobbied to have their combat pay cut.
Edwards twice accused the administration of having "lobbied the Congress" to cut the combat pay of troops in Iraq, when in fact the White House never supported such a plan.
Rather, the Defense Department proposed allowing a temporary pay increase for all troops worldwide (even those not in Iraq or Afghanistan) to expire, and promised to maintain current pay levels for troops in Iraq and Afghanistan with separate pay raises if necessary.
Army Times reported in its issue for the week ending Aug. 18, 2003 that a Pentagon budget assessment sent to Congress in July called for letting a temporary combat pay raise enacted earlier that year for troops worldwide expire at the end of the fiscal year, Sept. 30. The result would have been a cut of $75 a month in "imminent danger pay" and $150 a month in "family separation allowances."
But according to an Aug. 15 American Forces Press Service report, David S.C. Chu, defense undersecretary for personnel and readiness, said the department could raise hardship duty pay or incentive pay. The bottom line: "We are not going to reduce their compensation," Chu said. The Pentagon also said in an Aug. 14 news release : "This is an issue of targeting those most deserving, and certainly people serving in Iraq and Afghanistan are in these categories."
And lets look at some of Kerry's lies about Bush and Chaney's Involvement with Halliburton. To qoute his ad released on Sept 17th, wich he endorses, "As vice president, Dick Cheney received $2 million from Halliburton. Halliburton got billions in no bid contracts in Iraq. Dick Cheney got $2 million.
Now, lets take a look at what the FACTS are, shall we?

Nope, Chaney's not getting ONE DAMN DIME for the money that Halliburton might make in Iraq, he's donating every damn bit of it to charity....wich I might add, under Federal Law he DID NOT HAVE TO DO. He still could have received money for his stock in Halliburton, but he gave it up voluntarily. Wow....what a peice of shit....

Esh... how pathetic is this actual reason for disliking the current administration. Cheney has gone UP AND BEYOND the current laws regarding his stock options and his current position.. yet it's still not good enough.
Give me a break. Get the facts and lose your ignorance on the subject.
