The Arcane circle has now been released. This circle is comprised of many spells that were formally found on magic items only, spells that were cast by creatures only, and a few new spells. The spells will generate on some predefined items and as random drops on treasures and other magical trinkets.

Most of the credit for this release goes to former GameMaster Nilven, who handled the initial design and coding.

In the next day or so, I'll be updating the website's spell documentation, but it does currently have an outline of the circle:

You rummage around a mail hooded cloak, but can't seem to locate anything with Fash'lo'nae's Gift on it.

What makes you say that? Most of the spells were already implemented (small statues, blue wands, crystal wands, etc.).

The wands that contain steam bolt are out, too. There's a post on the officials about someone loresinging to it (doesn't work right yet).

They're re-releasing bronze squares and the like for those. I imagine the items are in the hopper, ready to be found.

1750 is just the new, big, shiny one, so it got the center stage of the release event.

Outside of auction quality enhancive spell knowledge items, you will find the spells on scrolls and magical items in the treasure system. It will not be native to any particular profession.

bronze squares attack everything in the room with a big boost to AS (I recall it being 50 but could be wrong). You had to have it in your hand back then, and it gave like 30 seconds rt but usually obliterated everything (but that was when you could crit the shit out of stuff).

By everything, I mean everything. IIRC you even attacked other people, even in your party.

So what have people found so far? the green minor steam wands, bronze triangles, bronze squares? Do they still hit everything including friendlies?

Oscuro/Estild said they altered the old spells. Don't expect them to work the same as they once did, for better or worse.

Have that bitch infused. Sorcerer could lock up both instances of 1704 for 5 charges, then unlock 1711 for 20-25 charges, and you're golden for about 40 casts.

Creates a strong magical aura around the target, ensuring any dispelling action will first target this effect before other effects. As a side effect Elemental Detection will always detect and list this spell before any others as well.

Dispel actions are typically, but not limited to, the results of the Spirit Dispel, Elemental Dispel, Spiritual Abolition, and Elemental Disjunction spells.

This got me thinking. If you were to spellup in a different order (104, 105, 112) could you predict what spells would be stripped? If you always spelled up with worthless spells first or last.

It used to work this way, in a LIFO sort of deal, but that changed a few years ago when the update to dispel mechanics and Spirit Dispel were introduced.
