I'm looking for a program that is easy to make playlists, can loop tracks and possibly has a way to activate loop/unloop with key strokes (this I understand might not happen).

I don't like winamp, and Windows Media Player seems to share my IP with like 10 companies, and Peer Guardian gets all upset unless I work offline (which nukes IE).

foobar2000 is my goto choice for a music player in windows. It's very customizable and there are a lot of plugins for it. It's also lightweight so you don't have these huge programs that have ads or checkin to everything and have a web browser and such installed into it

You can always just go into Media Player's options and tell it not to share your unique info. I've always taken that to mean it doesn't and whenever I've done that I no longer see any outbound traffic from it.

I just did it and I'm still seeing it. Peer Guardian is catching 10 things each time. Only when I go offline will it stop.
