+17 heavily crit padded, has been altered by the NPC merchant to have a crossed bow and arrow embezeled on the left shoulder.

Asking only a bit over 7m, maybe 7.1 or 7.2, maybe just 7m.

Anyway, AIM MetaphorMan13, U2U me, ebyrwa@play.net works fine too, or contact me in game within the landing if interested.

I'll get it pretty much anywhere, but if you're living outside the landing/ice mule area expect to pay a bit more for the note exchange fee.

Thank you.

So since critters aren't so crit happy any more what good is FGB again?

Even though I firmly believe FGB is overpriced, crit padding is still useful. It can mean the difference between a stun and no stun, which is pretty life or death later on.

I bought my FGB for 4m less than a year ago. It's 7m now?

7m = $120-150 at current prices. I get killed because I get stunned maybe once a week. Better crit padding might save what, one more of those stuns in four now? So I need to shell out that much to save me from getting pwned once a month? In a game?

Then why buy using real money?

I had FGB on Sallazarre from 30 to 61. I died like 2 times with it on.

I bought it 7, sold it 8, bought a new set that was really cool (mithril and so on) 9,5 and solt it back at 10.

Moral of the story: fgb rocks, but not anymore as too few people can wear brig for a long time now.

Huh? Its the main armor directed at clerics, bards, rogues and rangers. Thats half the professions in the game no?

I was under the impression that it was that, since gp3 and now gp4 and the mana staves:

Clerics max at double (I saw the thread about it, I think 0% and more DS is better than 7% and less DS)

Rogues: chains

Ranger, I agree, brig

Bards, I know crap about bards, but i'd presume chains too

X, please keep up with the current changes if your going to comment. This month, there is a change going in to make it all but impossible for anyone to hide in anything over brig..which limits 90% of the rogues in the game to brig or lower.

Also, bards have the worst spell failure in game with heavy armor. So chan is NOT an option.

My mistake, forget what I was thinking, I'm really outdated then.

Crit padding is definately still useful:

A n'ecare swings a wickedly curved falchion at you!
AS: +376 vs DS: +344 with AvD: +32 + d100 roll: +95 = +159
... and hits for 18 points of damage!
Jarring blow to your back.

Uhm, I'm not sure how it alll plays out, but I'm pretty sure some of these were suppose to be more than minors, yet none were. Either way, my experience has definately been that crit padding helps a ton.

Also, a few sets are on sale on the offical boards, and all are going for a higher price. They are altered, but who really cares?

Bards -=== Sonic armor.

It only sucks if your song falls in combat, but otherwise it's pretty cool, and last I knew, 1014 was based on your bard song knowledge as per bonusing. GSIV bards = awesome.

<<and last I knew, 1014 was based on your bard song knowledge as per bonusing.>>

Enchant is 15+(bardsongs known/2). Sonic barriers are unusually vulnerable to impact criticals while they offer increasing protection as you gain Bardsongs against fire, cold and electrical damage. Use by SING <Armor sub-Group>.
