Crystal Tears 24: You know, if you don't cut out this behavior of needing to get your own way by insisting on posting that link, you may find yourself on probation for a few days.
drew cantu: You're going to take down the link to my live journal?
Crystal Tears 24: I can
drew cantu: but are you?
Crystal Tears 24: If you don't take it down, I'm banning you for a week. How does that grab you?
drew cantu: Take the link out of my LJ or take my LJ off the boards?
Crystal Tears 24: And since I HATE banning people when I know that they are better than this, I'm asking you to remove it.
Crystal Tears 24: One or the other.
I won't edit my live journal and I'm not taking down my live journal because CT does not like something in it.
The end.
If you leave, I leave.
Edited to add...
That's fucking ridiculous, by the way. It's his LJ, why does it matter what he posts in it and if he links to it or not?

But, if you refuse to take it down..... What happens in a week when you come back and it's still there?

My LJ has been going for 6 months and has been in my profile for at least 2.
I'm taking it down because an Admin doesn't like content on MY personal space?
No.

Agreed.
(20:16:27) X*X*X*X*X*: I can't ban you for making some website that makes fun of someone, only if you used the forums to do so.
I'd like to see this be applied. Refer to our avatars.

It's not fair to us for you to go this measure to circumvent our rules based on such minor technicalities.
It's the fact that you're going to such extreme lengths to get something your way, that causes the staff here to have to respond using extreme measures.
We try and go by what's reasonable, and at this stage, after putting a link on our forums that violated our rules, then putting a link to your journal that links to something that violates our rules, and finally informing everyone to go visit your journal, all done in a matter of like 2 hours, what exactly are you expecting?
So you can keep trying to find other loopholes and so on, but I assure you it won't work and is counterproductive to the forums in general.
All that does is cause the staff to consider removing features and privileges that have been instrumental to the forums because some people decided they found a nice loophole to use these features to break our rules.

Ahh rebeling against the authority... we all did it. Don't back down! Continue!
Man, I'm talking as if I was like 30 years old.. booh...
That being said, I think all that will go too far, eventually.:medieval:

I have edited the link in my LiveJournal.
If you still have a problem with it, you'll have to tell Bob to get rid of his link as well.
And just to be clear, I did it for Kranar. :)

I agree. You got the content off your site, you got the link off your site, and now you're going to get in a fucking pissing match just to prove you can pwn Tayre? Why not just delete his account and block his ISP, that'll show us whose boss.
