Anyway, two of these dirty, nasty, renegade, who knows what motorcycle men that were escorting the procession proceeded to stop in front of me in the right lane on Gravois.

Really stupid complaint. Afghanistan was never a threat to our freedom of course but, still. What a cunt.

I respect the sherrif and am glad he isn't releasing her name. I'm sure some idiots would put her in the hurt locker she deserves.

It's nice to see Left and Right come together in times like this.

I'm assuming he didn't really intend for it to be released, but I have all the respect in the world for this guy, an elected official, to take such a strong stand on this. I can't really imagine complaining about waiting behind ANY funeral procession, especially that of a member of the armed forces killed in action.

And har har at her laundry list of what-ifs (sick and had to get to a bathroom?). She deserves a nice bout with dysentery, or something.

Her complaint is valid imo. Yes, the soldier's funeral deserved the utmost respect and a proper ceremony, but to put other citizens on the highway in danger is not right and not what he would have wanted either.

If an accident had of occurred and someones mother, father, or child had of been killed or severely injured due to the lack of coordination this funeral had, her complaint wouldn't seem so "self-serving and without merit". She deserved to be treated with respect as well because for all they or anyone else knows she could have been dealing with a loss of a child or family member too. I also think the motorcyclists only seemed so scuzzy and trashy to her because of the way they acted and screamed at her. The poor women was probably terrified that 2 "greased up" motorcyclists acting like maniacs.

Of course she could just be a massive bitch and this could have been a self serving inconvenience to herself only and no one else. I don't know but if what she says is exactly how it was, I'm not against her.

This could have been solved by giving the Soldier a well looked after funeral with a planned out route which is what he deserved.

There is the possibility that this WAS the planned out route, and I'd say it's very likely that any circumstances described by the woman as dangerous or illegal were most likely exaggerated. If this incident had been one where many or even multiple people had lodged a similar complaint, I don't think the sheriff would have taken the time to write a letter in response to only one of them.

Any funeral should be given respect. That's about all I have to say.

Ya, she could of been just a total bitch like I said. It's most likely it was exaggerated.

I agree 100% but I don't think she was disrespecting the funeral. I think she was wanting to inform the police that the funeral wasn't handled properly and to tell them so they could make it safer for the next time something like this happens. To me I felt like she was extremely upset with the motorcyclists rather then the inconvenience of the whole situation. I hardly doubt she meant any disrespect towards the funeral or the fallen soldier.

It would be my assumption that it was a planned out event/route (It is around here even for returning soldiers/sailors/marines) and if that is the case she should shut the fuck up.

Reminds me of an ethics topic back in college. Trans am speeding up on your ass honking it's horn and flashing it's light swerving and speeding trying to get around you... you decide to play Mr speed limit and block the Trans Am's access to teach the punk a lesson. Maybe so? Or is the driver of the Trans Am in distress and rushing to aid a passenger from dying due to accident/heart attack (insert shit wtf ever).

In my experience throughout life all funeral processions were respected whether planned/military or otherwise. Still run into a few huge ones around town here now and again.

Hell we just had an Officer get shot and killed in the line of duty here and it was a huge procession/event.

Bitch needs to get over it and stop being selfish. Principles.

I dunno. That's a major interstate where it was at and it was rush hour and it sounds to me like they might have only worried about one lane and disregarded the rest. Also, it sounds like they had civilians on traffic duty. So it probably wasn't handled as well as it should have been.

However, she also sounds like a retarded bitch ( He is just a big hoo ha wtf??) and her attitude probably went a long way in determining the response she got.

From another incident, a quote from my father, who of course had the windows rolled up at the time:

"IT'S A FUNERAL, ASSHOLE!!"
