If you liked the wizardry games or might and magic, Class of Heroes by Atlus for the PSP is a title worth checking out.
10 different races and 15 different classes host a ton of character possibilities. Just as with it's predecessors you have a party of 6 with 3 in front and 3 in back. Boasting much improved graphics and an anime-esque animation style (for those who may or may not enjoy this aspect). You delve labrynths in the same 1st person perspective and encounter rows of X number of enemies. Alchemy provides you with a way to develop greater equipment as well as enchant it and imbue it with different element and bane properties.
It plays so much like wizardry I can barely put it down. I've been killing my afternoons lately with my PSP rather than GS.
Also, here's a piece of GS trivia from times long ago now. The original programmer/designer for Wizardry (the name of whom escapes me at the moment) was a GM for Gemstone for a while and wrote CoL originally.
