Small Glowing Vials changed?

I have some small glowing vials from ten years ago, and am wondering if/how they differ from the ones found today.

At a recent merchant recharging event, I saw someone have one recharged for 45k. Then I had one of mine recharged and it cost 228k. I don't think the GM running the event was trying to dick me over.

The merchant said something about my vial having Heroism, not Bravery, in it. A player I asked said that he thought the old vials might have contained Heroism for clerics/empaths, but Bravery for everyone else, and the new ones may only contain Bravery - for anyone.

Anyone know the deal?

they work the same as pure potions, bravery for everyone except clerics/empaths who get heroism (dunno how paladins factor into that, I'd imagine just bravery).

They can also be used for blesses like pure potions and uncursing. Been years since I've had to use them for that though.
