what are KO flares?

KO Flares are Knockout Flares. They work on the Unbalance table and can only be activated on a strike to the Head or Eye. They're very good at putting critters on there backs and have some neat messaging.

You leap up, bringing your steel mattock down across the head of the ice troll with a sickening thud!

The ice troll wobbles then falls to the ground! Knockout!
... 10 points of damage!
Bones in left arm crack.


Your steel mattock plows right into the forehead of the krag dweller!

The krag dweller wobbles then falls to the ground! Knockout!
... 15 points of damage!
Jarring blow to the krag dweller's back.


With a solid *THUNK*, your steel mattock bounces off the head of the stone troll causing her to drop to her knees.
