One thing I noticed is I can't ambush for crap with my knife although I hit that target. I really like the RT, but miss the 1 shot kills. Anyway to improve this?

Ditch OHE and shield, 2x in ranged and put the remaining 50-some PTP wherever. That did it for me anyway.

Really? Doesn't shield help with bolt defense? Not into archery, tried it with my fathers ranger and hated it. Although it was open archery but still it sucked. I borrowed someones lightly crit weighted dagger and that seemed to work pretty well with ambushing, about as well as a rapier but with a 3s rt.
What should I be looking to beef up? Spells or hiding? What Cmans are good and we get stuff for armor training now? What is good in there?
Thanks

I tried it without a shield and got nailed, drop'd my ds alot also
