I know a lot of people that have been hacked, possibly through some apps there (not saying the ones you listed). Lately, several people on Facebook have been infected with a variant of koobface.D, which also posts "Check this link out!", "Cool video!", "I lol'ed!" etc., along with a link to the malware infection. Take that for what it is worth.

I got talked into playing the Knighthood app last year, and gave it a go for a while, but it just didn't kick it for me.

Yeah, I got nailed by one of those. But they generally aren't from games. They usually come from links that aren't involved with FB.

Apps scare me, but I'm a paranoid kinda guy. They get access to all your info and they do mine and resell it. (Gotta pay for the bandwidth somehow) Of course it's kinda pointless to not use apps for that reason, since they can also pull information from all your friends profiles using whatever they're sharing to you.

Think the only app I have is a poker one but I hardly play it.

I play Typing Maniac!

A friend who clearly doesn't realize i play a text based game and sit at the computer all day challenged me. I had 4 friends who play, and at the time the one who challenged me had the highest score ever with about 180k in one round.

My first round, i put up 500k. I've since posted a million in one round.

All the time I'd get calls on the days of parties being like "are you coming?" and not have a clue cause they used facebook as the means of inviting people.

... obnoxious that I had to join it in order to schedule stuff.

I play Typing Maniac!

A friend who clearly doesn't realize i play a text based game and sit at the computer all day challenged me. I had 4 friends who play, and at the time the one who challenged me had the highest score ever with about 180k in one round.

My first round, i put up 500k. I've since posted a million in one round.

I play farmtown and tetris. I rock at some tetris. I'm not in the top 100 leaderboard for tetris marathon yet, but I'm better than 96% of users. Better than more than 90% on all the other games.

I think I'm going to be checking out some typing maniac.

I played through tiny adventures quite a few times, All I do now is burn my energy in mafiawars a couple times a day.

There's a cheater program you can get that will freeze the game, then you can type all the words you see, unpause, and it gives you credit for all of them.

I put up 900k all natural yo.

I have all apps blocked for the same reason.

The spam that everyone's apps generate in the news feeds gets annoying. I have my FB shortcut set to the status updates page instead of the home page to avoid the bombardment.

Today I helped someone that was infected with Smitfraud-C from a browser hijack of the "We're Related" app on Facebook.

Hijack tossed up a "Your computer might be infected!" popup.

Easy to fix, but better to prevent.

Bejeweled Blitz: top score of about 190k.

Texas Hold 'em, which I also play on Full Tilt. Won all three rounds of the weekly tourney once, but alas, I did not win the drawing for an ipod! FYI: Hakonne also plays hold 'em on Full Tilt. I sat down next to him in a tourney once and he said, "are you the Archigeek I know from another game?" Funny coincidence there.
