So, I've been back in the states for about a week now, catching up on my CSI.
I was wondering, which one do you all think is the best, and why?

Why (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sarYH0z948) I love and hate CSI Miami

None. Watch the Wire instead.

Yeah, I heard some good things about the Wire going to try and watch one or two before I head back overseas.
Good, now an easy poll to see who is smart and who is stupid.

I like the original CSI. Miami is just horrible. NYC is ok, but I can't get into it. It's good DVR fodder to watch when nothing else is on, but I rather watch Law and Order.

CSI original is good, IMO, but if you watch more than 4 episodes back to back a) you realize you are lame, b) you begin to catch on to the whole show "formula" and it becomes terribly predictable, and c) you begin to realize how little the reality of a CSI unit in a major city is probably being represented.

Miami, I want to stab that pretentious red haired actor, never watch it.
NY, I want to stab that pretentious black haired actor, but can stomach the show once in a while.
Vegas, I like the lighting and music, I can watch it.
NCIS, want to stab the gray haired guy with his constant "oh noes, woe is me, my family is dead" moments every damned show. A forty year old with a double chin shouldn't wear pig tails, I believe it's some kind of law.

I agree, but I love love love CSI Vegas. Miami is okay for sure even though I can't stand Wolffe and Horatio is a fucking overacting ninja. Surprisingly enough, I don't really like NY so much. I mean it's okay, and Lt. Dan is cool, but he's the only one on the show that I like.
I'm also disappointed that they got rid of Riley from Vegas. I liked her character, and I dislike Sara and now Sara is coming back wtf?!?!
Oh and as far as NCIS, I fucking hate that show. I wish every single person on that show other than the cute goth chick would burn to death in a chemical fire.

How iS LF doing as a replacement? I've heard some good and bad things.

There is no replacement for Grissom, heh. But I like him. He's different.

The original CSI had its moments after the initial clunky period and before it got too big. The spinoffs have no traction whatsoever. The only rational option is the first.
NCIS and Law and Order are both better by a wide margin, but have become somewhat repetitive (although the casts are full of enough win to maintain their watchability). Southland vanished for a hundred years for some reason, but has potential as the new elite cop/law show.

Oh and now we get NCIS Miami with Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J. I think it's Miami...
I'm watching CSI Miami right now, just to laugh at Horatio's dramatic pauses. All of the CSI shows have some level of intrigue for whodunnit's. I've always been a fan of Grissom and the original CSI though.
LL Cool J is on CSI Miami? The new season?
I'll have to put that on the record list to see how it goes. I've always liked Cool J.

NCIS, want to stab the gray haired guy with his constant "oh noes, woe is me, my family is dead" moments every damned show. Those moments happen at most once a season, on average. The moments that do happen every show are:
1) Gibbs being awesome.
2) A legitimately funny exchange amongst the team.
Not the best show ever, but worth watching.

I can understand that, Grissom was great, but is LF doing well? or is he fucking shit up?

He's a fucking ninja I tell you. At least once per episode he ninjas up behind someone. Fucking ninja.

Like I said, he's different. And I like him - he's a good addition.
CSI LV is clearly the best of the 3 but I enjoy watching Miami mostly for its ridiculousness. New York is meh and they killed the hot cop.

No, he's still alive.
None. Watch the Wire instead.
Good advice.

That red headed guy in the Miami one makes me want to bomb my TV. What a shitty actor. He used to be good in that cop drama a while back, fuck my brain isn't working, I can't think of the name. It was in NY. Anyhoo, hate him a LOT.
