Slate has a new End of America (http://sdn.slate.com/features/endofamerica/default.htm) website with 144 ways America could meet its demise. I've taken a thorough look at each of the 144 ways, and none of them are realistic. America will last as long as the world.
The site lets you highlight threats in specific categories or allows you to select the ones you think are most likely. If you make selections, the site plots your selections on a graph showing the relationship between fault and consequences to human survival.
