Yayz for almost being kick off. I'm pissed that I couldn't get tickets to go :( Probably a good thing as Azteca smells like the inside of a garbage truck. Hopefully this'll be a good match. The US is actually bringing some decent players to the game. Beers and football ftw.

For those of you who actually get the channel, it's being broadcast on MUN2. Cheap ass ESPN didn't want to broadcast it or some crap.

Fuck, I didn't check where this was posted.

I thought we were going to war. I was gonna get my lawnchair and a box of doughnuts and head down to the border to watch.

I'm just glad it's not a marathon or swimming event.

We were doing real well until we said "You know what would be nice? Letting them score from 30 yards out."

Yeah, but you've got to admit that that was one fucking rocket of a shot. The ball knuckled like a mofo. Great shot.

Edited to add: Good game so far though, I'll gladly take a 1-1 tie going into the half in Azteca. Our record there...sucks.

Yeah that shot only works at 8000 feet. Also as far as it being on Mun2 it's because Telemundo owns the rights to all Mexico games played at Azteca. ESPN owns the rights to all other qualifying games. I don't get Mun2 normally at work but apparently pretty much every cable and satellite provider got a "free preview" today and I've hijacked the TVs and turned them from CNBC to Mun2.

Good game for the most part. The refs sucked big time though. That mexican dude who put his hands all over two players should have gotten carded. Oh well. I'm glad it wasn't a must win kind of game for us. Still sitting in 2nd in the group aint bad.
