So one of my other housemates picked up this game and it's been pretty fun so far, haven't played much but I could see it being awesome at parties. The Wii Motion Plus makes a huge difference, night and day. There are still some issues with the swordplay stuff, where you have to recenter occasionally, but not too bad. There is this swordplay mode that's amazing, like a proof of concept dynasty warriors, except a shitload more fun... if only you were controlling the moving (it's along a set path, fighting off tons of enemys).
... my wrist hurts.

I played it, it's fun like most Wii games, for about 20 minutes.

Did you play it alone? That's probably the problem there... being able to hand off the remote and play frisbee golf w/ some friends was a lot of fun. ... the sword challenge thing you play alone though, rather tough... the "spaz" method does not work there (the first sword game is dumb/spaz, the other two are much more precise).
I've only played a few of the mini games, wave boarding was really dumb...

My grilfriend and I played. But, most my gaming with the Wii is alone, so yeah, that might be my issue.

Not sure if it's $50 material... I was interested in the game but wasn't involved in the purchase. Hopefully the motion+ thing gets used in other games, it's insanely better. Golf used to be terrible for putting because of it not sensing little motions... same with games like twilight princess where you "shake" the wiimotes, instead of swinging them where you'd want the sword to go.
It could really fix a lot of the issues I have w/ the Wii (other than two game cubes duct-taped together graphics)

I haven't played it, and it sounds like it isn't as intuitive as you'd like.

I pirated the game but bought a motion+ to play it on. Haven't tried it yet but now I am going to set up my Wii for swordplay.
Edit: Getting error #002 with Resort. Going to play Virtua Tennis 2009 instead for motion+ support.
Double edit: Apparently I am fucking fantastic at tennis. Or this game is way too easy.

Got it working. Bowling seems much less retarded than before and the last swordplay mode is pretty cool. Kind of disappointed that tennis was replaced by table tennis and baseball was dropped.
