It has a bonus of +20 from a normal bow, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it requires skill in ranged weapons to use effectively.

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the ruic long bow in your hand...

The bow resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus of 3 to Dexterity.
It provides a bonus of 3 to Strength.
This enhancive item may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 15 times.
The bow looks to have a huge number of charges remaining.

You sense that the ruic long bow will persist after its last enhancive charge has been expended.

I object! But I'm late so carry on..

These bows are very easy to find, they were sold off the shelf at Winterfest.

I may even have one myself actually. That and this auction doesn't end till tomorrow anyhow...

That was the 12th and I posted my objection on the 13th. I just assumed it was over. Which I'm not interested anymore, so consider it sold by me.

I'm not going to want it then. Poo! I thought it was a treasure system generated bow. I want something I don't care about to test the enhancive potions tempering on.

Especially after hearing about Vrannar's issues. Not going to enchant my good stuff until the systems bugs are worked out, which I'll try and help by reporting any issues I have. Maxed out AU, MIU, spell circles, EMC and HP. So disregarding the enhancive portion as I do not know what Vrannar has beyond his attuned PP enhancives. We're on the same ground, until I get my attuned work shop that is.

What are you talking about? I've enchanted a few enhancives up to 5x. Some good ones too (just finished a 5x of one of these bows).

I'll find the thread later, need sleep. But someone posted about Vrannar having issues enchanting something or tempering an enhancive item. I'm still gonna start small. I have an awesome set of doubles or Fulls to enchant up. But there are heavy enhancives on it, so I'm not sure how hard it's gonna be.

Found the thread...And good ole rangerly quote.

Now that enhancives are enchantable, I'd say finding a suit of armor that enhanced a weapon skill or other important attribute is the way to go. However, good enhancives are REALLY FUCKING HARD to enchant. I've got Vrannar (you know, the 23m exp wizard?) trying to enchant a suit of golvern augmented chain with +13 stamina recovery from 5x to 6x right now, and he's failed the first cast three times in a row. I'm still awaiting a response from a GM as to why.

Anyway, in theory, the best armor you could make would be an enhancive suit of your favorite material, wizard enchanted up to 7x, merchant/PP enchanted further, altered, lightened down to its min, padded/flared/TD, spiked, sancted, resisted and scripted (if a merchant ever decides to add fluff scripts to armor [which is a neat idea; I should suggest it]). I think that covers every slot possible.

I'm a huge fan of starting from scratch. Most of my stuff started as pretty modest junk, including some +32 HCP 13lb scripted aug chain that started as off the shelf imflass, and a matching 8x perfect permablessed handaxe / 8x perfect HCW scripted dagger set which were both started as plain ora. If it's possible to enchant that stamina chain, I'm going to get it up to 7x and get it padded via points or at the next padding merchant. 7x HCP golvern aug chain with +13 stamina recovery? Awesome.
