I wanna start recording my calls when telemarketers call, since I always have a soundboard a click away just for them.
Is there any way to run my phone line (through the headphone jack on a cordless phone) directly into the PC so that when I play a sound, it goes directly through my PC to the phone line instead of having to put the phone next to my speaker (which results in them not being able to hear or understand wtf is playing half the time)?
And of course, I want to record the calls directly to PC too on Sound Recorder or Total Recorder or whatever.
So basically I want the entire call to play digitally through my PC, to ensure maximum audio quality, and more importantly, to be able to record the call with just a couple clicks. They usually don't stay on hold very long when I'm like "Uh....yeah one second he's outside lemme go get him." while I fumble around trying to get everything in place.
I get at least 3+ telemarketer calls a day and I want my money's worth dammit!
This is serious business btw.
