Can a sorcerer check if a scroll has been charged or not? Can they check how many charges are remaining?

If so, is it easy? Does it use up anything?

A nice trick to see if a scroll is fresh or not is to cast 704 at it. If the scroll phases it is fresh. If it doesn't phase it has been invoked.

One exception to that is if the scroll came from a box opened with Call Lightning (125). It will act fresh but will not be infusable.
