I'll chime in.

Each specie is one use. You TOSS it at the body and place them on the body's eyes. If the body is already kept, you will frown and retrieve the specie. If it is not kept, the body will be preserved for I think 10 minutes. Then they will fade and the body will need to be kept again.

I want to say when you look at the body, you'll see the specie covering the eyes.

They've been available at Ebon Gate for the past two years, but in one of Varulv's shops. As he's no longer on staff, the shop might not reappear. Also, they are more expensive at EG than they are here. This is a really nice deal for a fun, useful RP tool.
