hah yeah, I play a lot of random games so my K:D goes up and down a lot, some times I just get stomped because I don't know jack about the hero.

Only played one game so far, but i do NOT like that you can ready/unready and change heroes in the lobby, at least in an AP game.

I noticed the entire other team unreadied and repicked after my team had picked, i wasn't really paying attention because i was trying to figure out which hero was which.

After the game started and i figured out who was who....i knew why

my team had the dota ports of Rhasta, crystal maiden (me), pudge, necrolyte, and nerubian assassin

the sent repicked into antimage, omniknight, juggernaut, someone else i forget, and zeus.

Needless to say it was not a fun game for necro and myself.

I like the graphics in dota/wc3 better...it's easier to tell who is who which is very important for the gameplay. I'm sure i'll get used to it, HoN is clearly "better" graphics...but i'd rather it be easier to differentiate for better play.

Repicking costs them a few hundred gold from the start. Play Random games I think they don't allow repicking.

ahh, didn't seem like there was a penalty. UI is a bit cluttered with ZOMG GRAFIX (seriously...i don't need sculpted artheads one verything...a nice clean list is fine)

Had another game was a bit better but had 2 leavers on my team. It really is just like regular dota :)

haha yea. Having never played DOTA myself, the thing I Hate the most is the Field of View etc, regardless of Resolution shit is always the same, and it's still hard for me to discern enemy from ally with all the fiasco and colors..

In the past day or two that I've played, I've managed to make friends with about 4 other people. We regularly have 5 on in Vent now to play which is awesome given it's normally myself, plus 2 other buds then those 4 or 5 depending on the time. It's a while lot funner when you know everyone on the team fo sho.
