While I'd love to be able to sit back and watch the bids climb, 350.00 is the amount that I gave to several people, Aethor included, as the buyout. I can't not honor that, unfortunately. Aethor, I sent you a PM. Wizard is sold, pending payment.

He could be waiting for the money to transfer to his bank account before handing over the information to you.

It seems some people aren't trusting of you and it could be reason as to why it's taking somewhat longer. That or personal life does interject sometimes, today is only the 5th, you sent payment two days ago, give him time.

HSB is a good standing person, so he likely isn't fucking you over. Alot of us can vouch for him

After reading the threads it does seem HSB has a good reputation and you may have some negative stigma Aethor.

But to the issue at hand: I think HSB may be on vacation. I am also in the middle of a transaction with him and he mentioned he was away from and unable to check his work email for a week but would be responding to PMs.

But due to lack of communication and failure to settle the transaction therefore I have filed a dispute via Paypal because of the rebuttable presumption of bad faith.

I did a quick asset search on him via LexisNexis before I sent the funds so I doubt there is much to go after very easily. But having been defending two baseless suits I could use a scratching post on which to sharpen my claws. The idiot that bought my sister's 4Runner last month and canceled the cashier's check (weirdest thing my sister's bank said the funds were good but really made them 'available' based on their line of credit because they would not transfer title until they had 'good funds; talk about reasonably relying on the bank to their detriment! So anyone reading this beware of stupid banks.) rolled over real quick when I raised the prospect of fraud; while my sister and brother-in-law were happy secretly I wanted a little more of a fight... because its a fun game to sharpen one's rusty skills. :club:

Anyway, I bet HSB can prove ability to convey the property in question. Surely he did not willfully defraud and then refuse communication. No need to assume anything nefarious, although it is always nice to be prepared. With 45 seconds of research based on the email address I paid with he could verify my stature; for example I coauthor a blog with a buddy from law school who specializes in civil litigation and privacy. I sure hope I do not have to whine to a couple buddies from law school that are now DAs up in the bay area that owe me few favors for borrowing my outlines.

In regards to finishing my transaction, which I have every hope will be finished pretty soon according to the terms HSB and I agreed to, I would be interested in how yours proceeds Aethor. Should we need to exchange any information I will be more than helpful.

WTF. What a way to make your First Post a retarded one.

This is just one more reason why, expensive as they are, I only pay cash out to GSAuctions.

At best, people are unreliable. At worst, they're even more jewish than me.

I give people the benefit of the doubt for the most part who have a good reputation, HSB has been one of them.

If you also notice, the last time he was in the forums was on August 3rd..So things may have come up.

Granted I never fully trust people, it's just something you have to do and hope for the best.

If I wasn't a trustful person, I wouldn't be where I am today in this game, most of that has to do with time and good dealing with people

For what it's worth, I did (and do) have a pretty ugly home situation that has taken all my money, 90% of my time, and most of my sanity. A sick family member is a drain in every way possible. I thank whatever god is looking on that I was able to liquidate these characters, as it truly saved my ass.

Wiz is delivered to Aethor, and Cerberus has been sent mail from a few different places. He's not around to release the claim (and the 500.00), but when he gets back online, I'm sure we'll clear it up.

Those who know me IG... I'm not going to be around for a while. The accounts that I kept are going on hiatus, or being loaned to family members. Thanks all, and I fully expect I'll be back, I just don't know when.

PS - Sadrae = Lifesaver. <3 to a true friend.

Despite the minor inconvenience and as I fully expected based on HSB's past dealings the transaction has been finished and the dispute closed. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

[QUOTE]PayPal Note: Buyer confirmed that buyer and seller reached an amicable resolution on this Dispute and buyer closed the Dispute.

It appears HSB had connectivity issues beyond his control at the most inopportune time. Anyway, I am satisfied and if HSB needs a reference then I am glad to give one. :thanx:
