There was a time one wanted to stay in GS because if you left you missed out on something.

Things were happening every day.

Now things have slowed down to a crawl and you could miss months and not miss much in game.

Playing Zhelas really isn't as much fun as it used to be. I am close to packing it up for a bit. I really don't look forward to alchemy or to grind away at the temple of Nelemar to gain 90 ranks of Summoning lores. I know you only need 20 for web bolting. But why not gain all the benefits of all the toys.

Reading the officials is disheartening and all I can say is why bother when they will nick pick anything and everything to say the features are working as intended.

At the moment joining the Bandwagon and taking a leave of absence sounds pretty good.

Peace

Sometimes it is best to take a break. Take a week off from playing Zhelas or gemstone as a whole. Sometimes I get a bit burnt out, but a few days away has always fixed any burnt out issues I have. YMMV.

kinda feeling the same, actually... I keep changing my training, hoping that will add some new spark... moving to different cities... eh. not working. sigh. I read the forums more than I play.

haha... case in point... After writing that, I logged in, and died within seconds. Fuckit.

I tried changing things up with my char a few times. went back to sword&board, switched to full necro, then back to demonology, then finally I went to my last set up of next to zero lore and true tripling. Nothing worked for me. on that end. As I think E put it, Been there done that, and I've been around GS for way to long. So in short it was time for me to leave, ~fin
