Sometimes you have to put your coins out there. If you're going to nickle and dime an auction, expect to lose. If you want something, bet what you are willing to pay. If you think something will go for more than 3mil, bet more than 50k more than the next person when it's at 1.2mil.

For example, the bravery enhancive at CCF came out and someone bid 100k to open the bet. I returned with my 15mil bet, over the 100k because I wanted that piece like an Ethiopian wants a ham sandwich.

In the end, you lost an auction, I am sure you can just buy some more stuff in playershops in the next few weeks, like some rabbit fur in Dhask's shop in Solhaven (shameless plug).

Let me explain the above two statements:
The first statement beginning with WTF is also a joke. Not a very good one, but one that was left very open to anyone who's been keeping up with this very exciting thread.

The second statement is not a joke. It is a statement stating that the statement Del made about raping child and starving ethiopians was actually a joke (but not a joke aimed at making light of pedophilia or the horrible situation in ethiopia).


Now to further address some of the previous very valid points. Your point is taken Ponzzz. As I will never go from 100k to 15 m on a bid (because I simply cannot afford to for reasons once again stated above), I will never try to challenge someone who I know has more money than me in an auction again.
Thank you for the advice, and I realize that if I really wanted it I would have gone higher immediately. While it would have been nice to have all those cobbling supplies (until I tried to sort through them, locker them, and slowly cobble up another 200 pairs of boots I'll have nothing to do with), I'm kind of glad I did not win the auction, especially since its been clarified that the total value of the items was similar to the buyout and I like to get decent deals. Just to clarify some of this paragraph was a joke and some of this was not. The last statement was also a joke but in a way, serious (i.e. meant to be funny but the content is true).

Now as much as I'd like to get the last word (as a butt hurt 10 year old), I think its time for me to get some sleep.
