Seems to be a large demand for Orb Gems lately.

I just sorted through my gem sack and pulled out 40 of em.

You ask the dealer to appraise the contents of a crimson dragon-stitched sack.
The gem dealer takes the dragon-stitched sack, opens it and inspects the contents carefully before saying, "I did find 40 gems that I'll give you 66220 silver for, if you want to sell."
The gem dealer then returns a crimson dragon-stitched sack to you.

40 Gems: some polished pink coral (x2), an uncut diamond, a green garnet, some blue lapis lazuli (x2), a black opal (x2), a large pink pearl, a medium grey pearl, a small black pearl, a tiny black pearl, a tiny grey pearl (x4), a tiny pink pearl (x5), a tiny white pearl, a star ruby (x10), an uncut ruby, a blue sapphire, a star sapphire (x4), a pink spinel, a smoky topaz

Ill start the bid at the gem dealers appraisal, do once,twice, three times and sold.

They need to be worth over 3k to be used as chrisms. Thats what most of the bidders were wanting them for.

Only had 4 that were worth over 3k, so I just deeded em all...

uhm yea ether way aslong as they are over 1k wizards can still use them for rechargeing...

I was always under the impression when recharging you wanted to use orbs that valued up and above 5k a piece. Not that the lesser orbs wont work, but you have better results with the higher end orbs.

You are correct, I don't use any orb under 10k when I'm recharging. The orb gems valued below 3k are still decent for blessing(325) magics into gems.
