For a ranger with trading skill, does the increased INF from Aspect Lion help any for pawnshop/gemshop transactions?

I can't think of a reason it wouldn't. I don't currently have any trading skill, so I can't test it out. It would be a very simple matter of appraising a gem, assuming lion, then appraising again.

Thanks. It's not a huge modifier or anything, but would still be cool and easy to do.

I don't have any trading skill now either.

Just learned 4 ranks to test it and yes, lion aspect helps.

Emerald value with 4 ranks of trading: 7262
Value with 4 ranks plus lion aspect: 7337

I always thought appraising gave you a base value. As an elf with 74 ranks trading and citizenship I always sell things for a good amount more than I appraise them for.

Danical said you get 1% more for every 12 INF BONUS (24 stat). So it will depend how close you are to the next cutoff point.

By appraising, I meant appraising at the gem shop, which takes INF and trading into account.

For the record, 14 ranks of blessing lore will net you a +12 INF bonus from lion aspect, equating to an assured 1% increase in value at the gem/pawn.

so you're saying it's totally worth it?

lol, no. But it's another perk to know about if you're going to train in blessings for other reasons.
