Old player becoming new

Alright so I have played GS in the past and I have decided I want to get back into it. In my past experience I played a rogue which was a lot of fun but I want to be more of a helpful type of player now. I decided that Clerics are probably the most needed because of their ability to raise people. Now here is my problem. It has been around a year and a half to two years since I last played and I am afraid I forget how to build a decent character the way I want to play him/her. With my dwarf cleric I want to be able to go on rescue missions with my friend who is rolling an empath so we can play together as a leet rescue squad! Go go power rangers! any I am starting to digress...I read some other posts on clerics but before I start making a character I want to post my own thread with what I want to do as a player. I am joining Voln since it has alot of benefits for clerics and voln fu rocks from what I read of it. Sorry If I rambled...I tend to do that.
