Ranger Advice

I don't even know if the way I trained my ranger is even viable anymore. I attempted to hunt and it was definitely not the experience I remember. Any advice would be appreciated.

CoL member. Archery is awesome but I'm open to other suggestions now. I would prefer to keep the bow around though.

Looks good to me. What problems were you having on your hunts?

Ditto what Droit said. You're sniping, right? That's how you're set up and it'd probably be safest. You could do open archery, too, of course.

Sniping, yes. I was mauled when going after hunter trolls. It really was a disgusting fight. I used to decimate the hell out of them. Now it takes, you know, effort? Pfft.

Well, if everything is all well and good, awesome. Are there any changes made to archery or the Ranger profession that would cause my hunting style to change or need improvement while sniping?

Not really. My best guess is that you're just in the "Watch me die because I haven't hunted in awhile and my tempo and judgment will suck for a few" stage. Always gets me when I come back after a hiatus.
