Things looking better every day. After watching the two applicants come out literally crying after 30 minutes I was scared to shit. (Oh my interview was 2 1/2 hours thus the significance.)
I was already overwhelmed at the size of this campus. It's massive. Reminded me of Google's campus.
Anyways it's at HSN. Shitty part is the next orientation and training begins sept 8.
I may stay in Florida after all.
I had choice of IT maintenance and repair (tech support in house). Customer Service in house.
And what I took was because it's easy as fuck and I can smoke and drink and fuck up peoples orders at home.
They have awesome benefits even for part timers and not that I'd buy their shit but 40% discount on their goods.
Hopefully I'll score this dead ass radio shack job across the street as well. Get off at 2pm HSN and go work the night shift the radio shack that never has a customer.
*Also incentives on up selling of course. 10-15% of the order takers are male and 95% of callers are female. She said the guys rule the phones that's why I decided to try it.

I was going to say, "Don't fuck it up", but then I read this...
And what I took was because it's easy as fuck and I can smoke and drink and fuck up peoples orders at home.
...so instead, I'll just say enjoy it while it lasts. Next time, maybe try challenging yourself.

It was a joke.
I've sobered up since march.
And the benefits and the cash is great not to mention working from home remotely.
*Also the market for jobs here is fucking shit I'll try something more challenging when the availability arrives. They up hire from within after 6 months.

Working from home requires some hella discipline.
Hope you can keep this one for a while.

What Gan said, x1000. I had a part time job from home in Syracuse, and I had to buy a work computer so I wouldn't fall into my computer habits while at "work."

You cannot see me right now, but I am hitting the dog in your avatar on the nose with a rolled up newspaper and saying "NO!" sternly so you will learn. You are not supposed to say nice things.
Say something old and bitter right now!!!
(Also grats Sean.)

They have awesome part time employer benefits as well. All but full medical and dental.
I also just got a call back from the radio shack across the road. This all could work out beautiful.
HSN is home shopping network for those that don't know. There are 4000 employees at this campus that I'll have to visit once a month but they have wellness centers, dry cleaners, cafes, etc etc etc. Awesome company.
Working from home is easy for me. I just upgraded to a brighthouse phone package to along with the verizon for the home office.
And as far as working from home I've done it plenty and I treat it like a real job. I get up. I put on a shirt and tie and go to work. Not a problem. I've even got dual LCD's setup so I can run the remote work portal and watch the live HSN channel on the other.
After 6 months I'm eligible for a shit house of in house jobs that don't list to the general public. Looking forward to that.
Thanks for the support guys I may only have $14.53 to my name at the moment but things are looking up.

Just got back from the campus and orientation. Fucking rocked. They really take care of their employees no doubt. Now if I can just make it through Friday all is well.

Is it just me, or are your redacted marks... odd.
Apparently your "position" is either a bunch of tiny letters typed non-parallel to the rest of the document, or it was simply "sales". Your base salary is.. um.. well did they tab like 4 times before typing it?
Anyway you didn't post in the proper format, once again it's:

Nah I cut them out of the scan first but out of pure work privacy obsession (wezas style) I always just scribble over them.
I was just surprised that they offered me another position higher up the chain then originally offered and am very glad for it. After a tour of the huge fucking place I'm very happy.
Lol it's the first place that has ATM's all over the place that dispense a single dollar if you prefer with no fees. Never seen such a thing.
Some girl freaked out and refused to sign the release form for using her in any video/film taken on campus. Major meltdown. It was funny but sad I'm sure she had her reasons but lady YOU'RE GOING TO BE WORKING AT A TV NETWORK. There are camera's everywhere and nine studios... wtf were you thinking.
My salary offer was more than expected/requested and should expedite my debts. It's still going to be a couple of months before I can repay those and certainly a lot more months if judge man bust my balls come Friday.
I've already got my daughter's birthday card/present ready to go just in case. I don't want it post marked from the 49th street motel. She turns 9 on the 15th.
Anyways was a good evening and fully catered. HSN is by far the largest institution career wise I've got my foot in the door with. ffs their break room is like four times larger than any hospital cafeteria I've been to let alone their cafeteria. Excited to be part of the program I had a lot of anxiety going in just to surprised.

The no approved time off was because I told them I had no obligations slated that would impede with them employing me before hand. They asked if I had any dates etc ahead of time that I would I need off as they understood that such obligations were made prior and would work around the dates with me if needed.

It's was more of a figure of speech. I've already got the card ready to be sent out Friday in case the judge is in a bad mood.

*And I received 37 emails already in the 4 hours I worked yesterday. blah

Oh don't take it the wrong way I love the job. I worked from 10am-4:15 pm this morning doing landscaping and got fried (take whatever I can get day by day) and then 6-11 remote training session from home office with 33 other tards.
I have three office phones and a plantronics headset that have been tested and all my shit has been set up for weeks.
Tonight my plantronics headset decided not to let me hear only speak so after trying it on all three office phones frustrated as hell I said the Serenity prayer and ended up holding a handset to my ear for 5 f'n hours listening to 28 women ask stupid questions on a conference call of 36+ people whilst navigating my remote desktop and trying to mute back and forth to answer questions directed at me.
My neck is killing me let alone my ears.
I was the first one logged into the remote training and it took 32 other people about 52 minutes before they got through their technical issues and we could get started.
I'm just plain happy to have this great job just had a frustrating very long day. I've got to remind myself A LOT to focus on principles before personalities is all.
All in all they've got one HUGE intraweb and it's fucking awesome... so full of tools I've never seen anything like it.
