Look at this shit:

This is what I have to deal with every day of my tortured life.
I need it that after I stretch the windows out and rearrange shit, that it doesn't go back to this crap, which it has every single fucking time I load the Wizard FE.
What do I do? Besides kill people.

Ok, so the wizard is supposed to remember positions automatically but it was written before people had crazy huge monitors and it seems to not be returning the numbers properly. But my father hasn't looked at the code in almost 10 years, so he couldn't really help.

File...Save Configuration?
Tried this. Backfired like the time I went across the wrists instead of downwards when I tried to off myself.

What resolution is that?
I'm soooo used to my crap 800x600 resolution that on my newer monitor I play in windowed mode, heh.
What happens if you save the layout? Okay, it may not remember the layout, but does it at least load it properly (saving you from having to stretch it all the time)?

Take a screenshot and save it as a jpg when you have it just right. Set wallpaper to this jpg. Problem solved!

1920x1080.
When I save the layout, it says, "Configuration saved."
Then it loads exactly like the picture I posted.
Now my dog need operation.

Gads. Is anybody else using the wizard on that high a resolution? It may simply be a problem with the code itself not being made for anything remotely that high.

I have mine at 1920x1200 and it works fine. I saved the layout and resize shit all the time haven't had a problem.

You need to make sure you type "Exit" or "Quit" and not use the X in the upper right corner after you Save Configuration.

Most I have gone is 1440 x 900, which worked fine. I'm doing like 12-something by 10-something on the desktop until Win7 comes preloaded on new machines and then it's time to go tri monitor of death!

^^
Stormfront is the same way, If I login another character without "quit"ting or "exit"ing it won't save any macro/config changes.

It was still being a wonky-ass mofo, so I created a new layout and saved it and that seemed to work. Already existing layouts like Default and So-and-so are still resetting, Allah knows why.

I dont remember exactly as Ive switched to stormfront this time around but iirc you have to go into the settings somewhere to set a new path to the new configuration. Otherwise it keeps loading the default config every time. Another solution would be to just save the new configuration over the default file.

I tried re-writing default (not just saving default, but making a new Default and trying to save it.)

What happens when you try to LOAD the saved layout?
Also as for quitting the game using the X, I almost always use that method for closing the game and everything saves just fine for me. You guys on Vista or something? Not sure why it would be any different for me, but it's always worked fine.

It works this way for me on all of my machines but I don't click the X, I always either EXIT or login another character without logging out the first one. If I just relogin, it won't save stuff =).

You need to read this!* Asus Gaming Module PLUS Windows Vista EQUALS an intelligent machine created to bring about the end of the universe.
If you have both of these two variables in play I suggest we plan a blind date for our computers. Is yours a girl? Mines a boy. His name is Heretic because he is the anti-christ. Maybe if they have sex they will be nicer to us.
I am completely serious.
*I had the same problem. Basically I begged my computer to stop acting like a douche. I have no rational explanation to your problem except maybe it is the resolution because mine is super high.

Another thing. Do you run more than 1 account at the same time. Something I did notice while dual logging chars in the past was that it would screw with the settings if i opened the second account before i saved the layout on the first or closed them in a certain order.

When I've changed my layouts due to increased screen size I've used WINDOW>LAYOUT>SAVE LAYOUT AS (name).
To load the layout WINDOW>LAYOUT>LOAD A LAYOUT (name).
If you play multiple characters you'll need to open each one and load the preferred layout and SAVE CONFIGURATION.

If there's no one at the helm who did your copy and paste, that's kind of impressive.

Did I just get botted or am I missing something?
I don't understand the point of a bot that will copy an exact post from earlier in the same thread.
