I been trying to flip my sleep cycle for the past few weeks, with no success. If I wake up earlier than I'm use to, I experience extreme fatigue and a headache that doesn't allow me to concentrate on anything. No matter if I get 4 hours of sleep or 8 hours of sleep, I can't seem to wake up on a different schedule. Anyone have some tips?

Whenever my sleeping schedule gets jacked up I will either ingest a shit ton of caffeine and stay awake until the new "bed time", or just take sleeping medicine and sleep until the new "wake up time".

Probably not healthy, but it works for me.

Cardio or lifting. Nothing is better for inducing a sleep cycle than some PT, that or a good baby batter release.

Jog (or even walk) a mile in the morning.
Eat regularly that day.
No computer, or food 1 hour before bed.
Take a sleep aid (warm milk with a little vanilla extract is tasty). Melatonin works, too.
Read a book instead of TV for that hour before bed- nothing too engrossing.
????
profit.

I used to have problems both falling to sleep and getting a good night sleep, suffering from mild Sleep Apnea, a friend of mine told me about the LiveWave Silent Night patches, it worked wonders for me, I like it because nothing goes into my body and I sleep through the night without any problems and the great thing is that you can use them for kids as well.

I have a lot of great articles on my website regarding sleep disorders, hope you find some good advice there

There's a few things I usually do...

1: work out... I know you might not want to, and it's a general pain in the ass... but if you just goto a gym or ride a bike or something and get crazy sweaty, I can usually fall asleep pretty early.

2: Stay awake... Lets say you're going to bed at 4am and waking up at noon... And you want to start waking up at 8am... Stay up until about 4pm and goto bed. You'll wake up at around 6am. And you should be tired again around 11 and will wake up at 8am.
The problem with that is it can be pretty hard.

3: Take something... Can take an ambian or some other sleep aid.

Melatonin, period.
You'll find it in the vitamin/herbal section. It helps the body produce seratonin. Will not give you a hangover feeling the next morning. Take a 3mg tablet after some exercise (like Anticor mentioned) and you should be gold.

Also cut out TV or other mental stimulous.

Unlike most of you, I'm a pretty inactive person. I enjoy long posts on the forums and candle-lit gaming nights. But, I'll see what I can do.
