Looking to buy a perfect great axe.

Mistakenly sold mine to the pawnshop (one of the more annoying things I'v done in my gemstone career).

I think they will put what you sell back on the pawn tables. May want to wait around and see if it would be put out on the weapon table.

They dont sell back items such as that. Immediately went to the tables and waited for 30 min. And later confirmed by assist.

that's bs. The pawnshop needs an update. Firstly there should be a fallback system for mistakes like that- everything should end up on the table at least for a bit. Also, I've appraised weapons worth 10m at 12k, which the pawn could afford, but I can't sell some piece of crap enhancive that nobody wants because the pawn thinks it's worth too much? Irritating.

That should not be your fault. It is a double fault on their part, for first letting it be sold (which i guess it is both of your faults), but then BECAUSE that item is worth too much it doesn't go on the table? That is utter crap. If it can't go on the table, they shouldn't be allowed to buy it. I don't see how giving you your greataxe back would hurt their policies or environment of the game.

That and it's a PAWNSHOP for chrissake. The whole point is you should have the opportunity to buy your crap back.

If I had to guess, I would imagine forged weaponry is just flagged to go run into nothingness when sold. For the amount of that crap that is sold to the pawn, likely nothing at all gets sold. The exception, obviously, is perfects.

Requires a few more keystrokes, but keeps you from accidentally selling something you didn't mean too.

FIRST RULE: Don't keep stuff you don't want to sell in your main container for loot.

Get crappy axe from backpack and sell to pawn

Usage: .sell back axe

Works great for assloads of wands (of various types) and such

Usage: .sell cloak wand

Need to sell several green sapphires for AG task?

Usage: .sell pouch green.sapp (note use of . between Green and Sapphire)

Main:
put get my %2 from my %1
MATCH Sell you remove
MATCH Done what
MATCHWAIT

Sell:
put sell my %2
GOTO Main

Done:
ECHO All Done.

Want less keystrokes? Change %1 to backpack or cloak or whatever. then just type: .sell wand

I'm all for a change in the pawns policies, where if something would normally sell for FAR mor then the 25k limit, to give you the option to sell it AT the 25k limit.. Lord knows there are people in RL who sell shit for literally pennies when desperate.

The only reason I don't think they do this is that they like the fact that the treasure system is limited in such a way. People would have access to even more coins by selling "High end" treasure fodder to the pawn for even 25k a pop as opposed to just taking up space in one's locker.
