Alright, how do you get rid of a sandstorm? Are 417 and 119 my only options? I've tried 505, I've tried 912, assuming either would work but with no luck. I'm hunting sand devils with my noob crew, just wondering if there's anything other than killing faster, or using the dispels to rid the room of the sandstorm.

Gib, stumped.

I've been given the advice to stun it as soon as it enters your room and pick it apart from there. It's too mana-intensive to dispell the sandstorms as the next round the devil will just make a new one.

Unless you can kill it immediately, let the sand devils come to you.

What about 612?

You pretty much have to kill them before the storm starts. You want to stun them or put them in RT as soon as they get in the room, force them to a higher stance, and kill em. Dispelling the storm won't really do anything because as soon as a sand devil performs an action you have another storm brewing.

I want to say 612 doesn't work but its been a long time since I had a ranger there.

I used to carry 90 mana rods imbedded with dispel so the storms wouldn't drain all my mana.

Best bet is to wait in a room outside of the storm, wait for the devil to come in and try to stun the crap out of it. Once that's done, they should be relatively easy. I generally use 616 to stun them, then fire an arrow in their eye.

What professions are your other characters? As a mage I would just estrike as soon as they walked in

Nature Resistance from 620 also helps with Sandstorms. If you've got a mage in your crew, I found Immolating sand devils works amazingly well. If you burn them before they start spinning, they won't be able to get the storm going until the fire goes out.
