It looks like this item has been mainly crafted out of vultite.

From what I've heard if an armor has a permanent resistance, it can't be further modified with a temporary resistance to the same type of damage. I'm guessing that applies to negative resistance as well.

Yeah, that is what I am wondering. Would be nice if the negative stuff could be mitigated with the temp padding.

I have some chain fittings in my satchel waiting. Will post when we find out.
