So what are the opinions on sanctifying to a 7x perfect morning star and getting single plasma flares vs sanctifying to a 7x superior eonake morning star and getting double plasma flares? Is the +1 AvD and +2% DF perfect has over superior better then a chance to get double flares?

I'm leaning towards eonake just for style alone but would like to hear others thoughts and opinions.

The perfect. Eonake has no mechanical advantage over the other morning star for 1625.

Er..why do you think that the perfect won't double flare? 1625 provides permanent guiding light flares, which have the double flare effect. It has nothing to do with the material.

I thought eonake got double flares from 1625 and blessable only got single flares?

No, I believe it applies to both. My friend Savek doesn't have eonake and his double flares regularly. I'm pretty sure that's precisely it.

7x perfect with double flares wins

Well eonake is freakin lame then. Bitch to enchant and forge and gives no mechanical advantage. Thanks for letting me know.

Must have been thinking of adding 1608 to an eonake weapon vs blessable.

Eonake would get double flares simply by casting 1608 on it....However Sanctify, 1625, yields double flaring goodness so long as the weapon is currently not flaring or weighted etc

Eonake is good for a backup weapon, as it will be sancted for a Paladin. Your bonded weapon you want as close to 10x as you can, and no flares. Forged weaponry is as you've noted a good choice as well. No weighting, either, unless it has a lot of it. The nice thing about bonding to a 7x perfect is if you get lucky at a festival you could get it bumped up to 8x. 7x-8x is RELATIVELY available at most pay festivals. Just in general, high enchant perfects are good merchant fodder to have on hand.

On this topic, anyone know of anybody who might be crafting/selling any OHE/OHB weapons?
