I'm currently using 8x max lightened HCP doubles. I'd be interested in anything better than that. Also, I'd love to get a DB item of any enchant. I am aware that people don't sell these items very often, but I'm not in any rush.

Excuse my ignorance, DB?

DB stands for defense bonus. They are old items that can't be made or found anymore. They can be all sorts of things cloaks, boots, pin worns and they range from 1x-10x.

Hmmm I don't think it has the same ring to it, but we'll see if it catches on :D

There were 4 or 5 DB items at the EG'06 auction, but nothing over +10. Some of them (the bowtie) were completely unalterable. There is a maximum of +50 from DB items per character, so most people who go looking for them want that +50 with as few items as possible. Desirable locations would be pinworn, or anywhere else that doesn't really interfere with containers (making cloaks the least desirable, since DB items can never be pocketed).
Edit: And they're almost un-enchantable now. Not by players, not by premium points. The 2 super high end enchanting slots on each run of CCF were noted in that they could be used on DB items, but I don't think anyone did.

I think DB boots are the best since layered clothing will come out RL soon and I would be pissed if it messed with pins depending on what they are altered into.

DB boots are the shit. Unless you're a rogue with a giftbox item. Then they're not so good.

Damn your bones, I just spent 20 minutes scrolling through lolbrielus. Why in the hell is it so amusing when I have no idea who the dude is?

I was always miffed the ranger giftbox items were arm worn and then the brawling vambraces went in the same spot.

Yeah. Warriors got lucky there. Belt slot (not belt worn) FTW.
I did think that all GS3-4 enhance items should have been neck worn. For everybody I mean.

Nope. I think wizards, sorcerers, empaths, and bards? had neckworn items. Rangers arms, warriors belt, rogue boots.
Yeah I meant that everyone should have had the same deal. Simu especially being about equality and everything LOL.

The annoying thing about the ranger gift is that they're *bracers*. They should be freaking WRIST worn, not arm worn.

You see nothing unusual, except for a small enchanter's glyph.
