I grabbed it from direct download, so I don't have any CD image. Let me see if there is anything I can do though.

Wow. Is that connected to Age of Empires at all?

I just looked at the pics and for some reason it reminds me of a really old school pc game lords of the realm.

Edit: NM, Stupid google. Took me to a DS game site

It's for the DS, Wii and PC. We bought it for $50 through Direct Downloads. Easiest way to do things for multiple computers. Was too new to find it any other way,.

looked at it a bit more now. Is it just exploration or is there combat and such like with the Civs?

there's combat, but it's not individual units, it's a group combat, like you build a tower and have units in it, and the units can attack/etc in a radius by the looks of things.

Let me know what you can do ponzz, or I'll have to spend my gift certificates to buy it ;p

Hahah, sorry, forgot about the thread! First off, I can't get a CD image or a setup of any sort to hook you up for free due to the way direct2drive.com works. Unless someone knows a way.

The game is pretty awesome. My girlfriend has been playing it more than me, but how I would explain it is... What if Civ and SimCity combined their efforts and took the best of both worlds. You build a settlement and do trade economics to grow. You can tax the people, go to war or grow to be huge. The graphics are stunning and the system is easy to learn.

If you enjoy Civ and if you enjoy city builder games, pick it up. Worth the money.

I love Civilization, but SimCity has a tad bit too much micromanagement needed at times (or it's more along the lines that whereever you place your buildings and stuff, you're kinda stuck with that pending major overhauls).

How much of SimCity is in the game, of that micro-managing nature?

Yeah, this has a lot of micromanagement invovlement. But the general basis is much different. I'm having fun with establishing trade.

Finally beat a scenario from start to finish.

Fucking did the Easiest scenario after attempting the harder ones and getting half way done before calling it.

Took me about 5 hours of play to beat the Elector scenario (basically grow a big city without any outside interference).

I have a shitty time setting up trade routes, so I always have negative income, but I offset it by building massive industrial places and overproduce and sell everything so I'm making money in a negative economy.

Anyway, I'm stoked, now I'm going to try another scenario.

I cant figure out how to invade other cities yet, as I havent done it. I'm more of a pacifist, but I n2lrn how to kill my friends in games.

Dammit, I need to get a better PC. RTSes are my favorite, but my current wimpy laptop won't be able to handle this game, and the wii version looks pretty kiddie.
