Lumi, did you ever get SC to run on your goddamn system?
We have 3 players now, and still need a fourth for 2v2.
GET THAT SHIT TO WORK?!?!?!

The level of skill Korean SC Progamers play at is un-fucking-real.
I mean, seriously, like 300 Actions Per Minute alone is nuts but actually intelligently directly actions. The macro/micro skills are just simply unparralleled.
Sometimes they show the actual player view and you can see the screen going nuts because they're executing so many actions. Take a look at 3:03 and watch Tempest's MANGOON. At 4:12 they show you his view of things. That's with only a single unit he's commanding too.
The most impressive, to me, is the dual grouped mutas by Jaedong. That guy is a mother fucking beast.

To elaborate: he has 22 muta there. 11 in each group, plus 1 overloard per group hotkeyed in order to get the stacking glitch.
He splits them into two groups of 11, and proceeds to use the click-forward, click-back, hold position/patrol tactic to make them fire as fast as possible on the run. But here's the thing:
HE DOES IT ALL AT THE SAME FUCKING TIME FOR BOTH HOTKEYS---AND SOMEHOW CONTROLS 1 HOTKEY IN ONE DIRECTION AND THE OTHER IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!!!
The man is literally insane. And how cool is his handle? It's his friggin name.

The only downside to SC2 so far is that there will be no LAN support. But everything else looks insanely yummy.

Blizzard's being real evasive about that, though. I'm guessing they have some super secret solution or something.

Yeah. It's called Battlenet.

While no where near as skillful, the highest end WoW arena reminds me of this. Uber quick lockdowns, switches, burst nukages etc. Watching it is incredible considering how many options certain classes get.

I can be the 4th, ask Vulv, I pwned him every time. Well we only played vs eachother twice, and we are 1-1, but still.

IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!!!!!11
I dunno when is best to play, but not before I get my internets fixed which hopefully happens tonight.
God that goon control on those clips are insane, especially the one vs all those lings. ANd they started it off well with the corsair chase that was pretty funny.

Yeah. It's called Battlenet.
I mean, yeah, couldn't it be something as simple as:
1) Log into bnet.
2) Authenticate that you're not a bootlegging hacker pirate.
3) Have access to LAN options?
????
And if nub is a Gnimble-killer, I so want him on my team.

Well they're changing Battlenet. Personally I prefer the option of having a LAN, simply because it doesn't require a stable internet connection (which Bnet does). It's basically so Blizzard can sell more copies. No two ways around it.
