Testing %1 in match command

So how do I test %1 in a match command? The below works, but I spam my group with messages. I am hoping for something a little more elegant.



MATCHRE ChangeStance /(off.|adv.|for.|neu.|gua.|def.)/i
matchre Attack /[a-z]/i
put whisper group %1
MATCHWAIT


Any Suggestions?

Does mychar echo back? If so you'd only be spamming GMs listening in on you.

Excellent that does work. Hopefully the GMs won't hunt me down for using it.
