DR shows us up every year. Was talking to Charlie, he said like 40 GS, and looking at DR, it's like 100.

SimuCon is pretty fun times though. I'd totally suggest anyone go.

Yeah if you are anywhere near local and thinking about going you should totally get over here. It's pretty much just a huge party and its easy to talk to people because you can totally nerd out about GS/WoW/gaming in general with anyone there (even DR players).

5) If anything crazy or weird happens, do not try to resolve the issue yourself. Go to the hotel staff and tell them you need security or find a GM and they'll get in touch with the hotel and/or me.

8) If you are wearing a costume this year, all weapons MUST remain sheathed and/or on your belt at all times. NO WEAPON-PLAY ALLOWED. No weapon comparing in the hallways. No instructional classes on proper parrying and riposte techniques in the parking lot or by the pool. No hands-on seminars on multiple opponent brawling styles in the lobby. NO CHASING THE DUCKS WITH SWORDS, MACES, OR FLAILS (or anything else). For that matter, no chasing ANYONE (or anyTHING) with weapons. Actually, just don't chase anyone or anything, period.

Has this been an issue in the past? A pack of GSers chasing ducks with swords, maces and flails? I want pics.

No, that's the DR people. Their text-based game is way more weird than our text-based game.
