Because of them I won't be able to play with my new toy tonight. :tissue:

What's the point of overnight delivery if you can't deliver it overnight!?
Rotten bastards. UPS only for me from now on.

That's pretty badass, actually.
Every rom site I try for is virus city, though.

Torrents. Pirate Bay and Mininova alone has complete ROM Sets for all the formats that thing supports.
The NES, SNES, Genesis, and GBA torrents were well seeded. Had them fully downloaded in less than two hours. The NeoGeo and Capcom Arcade ROMS weren't seeded as well, but definitely going fast enough.

Problem with UPS though... it might get there on time, but it'll probably be destroyed.
That looks totally awesome, except it seems really slow, the Mario gameplay seems terrible. If the controls suck, what's the point? Definitely give your review when you get it, I'm gonna buy one if it rules.

I wish someone would put out a Dreamcast, Saturn SegaCD, PS1 emulator for handheld. Some awesome games there.
Ok did some research since ThinkGeek always renames their products so they don't have competition: The real name is: Dingoo A320 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dingoo). It's made in China and comes in black or white.
Best deal I found was at Deal Extreme for 83 bucks with free shipping (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.20217~r.28278619) for the white version. According to most of the reviews the NES, GBA, Capcom board 1 and 2 run real smooth. The Neo Geo runs well if you can get it to run but it has some sort of problem for some people. SNES and Genesis are choppy.

Damn, that's some good research. Your avatar of an owlhawkfalconSherlockHolmes is well deserved. Wish I'd known about the other site, could have saved $20.
It should hopefully reach me today, if FedEx doesn't fuck it up again.
I've already got the ROMs downloaded and ready -- will let you know how it works.

Power Stone for the Dreamcast resulted in some real life brawls in my household. My brother and I would beat the shit out of each other as a direct result of losing/winning streaks in that game.

Been messing with it all night. Lots of fun, I've already got all my favorite old school NES, SNES, and GBA games on it. The Genesis games are a little wonky... I'm going to need to tinker around with those a bit more. A few of the SNES games are a bit off, but there's a frameskip setting you can tinker with until you get it right. For instance, when I tried Super Mario World, it was in hyper-turbo mode, but I changed the frameskip to slow it down to normal.
There are some ROMs I can't get working. The Lost Vikings, for instance, just gives me a black screen. That has me really bummed.
I can't get the NeoGeo or Capcom arcade ROMs to work at all. There's not much in the way of instructions or tutorials.
Controls seem fine so far. But probably takes some getting used to, since it and the screen are so small. But the screen is very bright, which is a plus. It doesn't feel like it's very well made structurally. It has that Chinese hollow plastic feeling.

How does it look? QVGA is a quarter (hence the Q) the resolution of a standard TV, is that noticable?

Not noticeable. Link to the Past looks just as good on this thing as it did on my GBA.
