Currently in 4x DCP brig with a 5x tower and alternating between a 4x sanctified axe and 5x superior falchion. Shield Bash is at rank 3, planning on taking it up to rank 5. Might eventually use a fixskills to drop it back to rank 2 when I can take shield charge all the way up to rank 5.

Short-term goals are Sanctify by 28 and MBP hopefully by 30. Mid- to long-term goal is 107, 1635, and 130 armor ranks by level 48.

Race is Half-Elf.

I ran a paladin up to about your stated goals and did almost the exact same thing, except I dropped all Dodging ranks as I got into heavier armor and I kept shield use lower, around 1.5x per level. You want to try to get 35 ranks of Multi Opps right at 35 so you get the focused mstrike. I would also suggest trying to work in some ranks of the Feint cman. It sets up your shield moves well and works against creatures that the shield moves won't work on.

I'm a fan of enchancing 1630 with lores also, religion ranks to make them kneel (also helps 1615) and summoning lore ranks to hit more targets (also helps 1605)

EDIT: And it was like playing the game on easy mode. Adding outside spells is almost unfair. Have a blast!

Aye, dodge is almost useless for plain DS while you're holding a tower shield. I'd drop it and put more points into MOC, PT, and CM.

I'm 64, use a tower shield and blunt, and I do this:

2x'd shield use, armor, blunt
1.5x'd CM, PT
1x'd MOC
.75x spells
1x or less HP
and try to get as many lores as that allows you

Here's me:

For a long time I avoided getting 1640, but I finally picked it up since I was doing warcamps in out of the way places with a group and field resurrections sometime came in handy.

I'm currently working on 2x PT and taking Religion lore to 25. After that I'll go back to working on CM.

MOC, in my opinion, is extremely effective and definitely worth the points. And you definitely want the Feint CMAN--too many things turtle, especially sorcerers.

I assume when you get 1625 you will be using it on the Falchion and put away the axe right?

Shield bash was okay for a while. But i have dropped it and put it all in my feint ranks and I couldn't be happier. RT for feint is lower and you get much better results. Sure shield bash/charge can knock'em over but with the AS a pally can produce if you can destory some shit with just getting them into a more offensive stance and inducing some RT then your doing it wrong.

at level 28, using a 1625'd 4x superior morning star and CoL signs I wreck anything i am swinging at with a 307 AS.

Also let me ugre you to follow suit with the MOC, I only have 5 ranks right now and can tell you with absolute certinty that when i hit level 34 or 35 i will fix skills to get focused mstrike. I can mstrike 3-4 times in a row depending on if i have 1607 on and I couldn't imagine being able to do a focus mstrike back to back like that. *drools*

I would also work on getting your religion ranks in early. The 25 ranks needed to max out divine strike help out a ton!

2x your weapon, 2x shield use, 3x armor until 150. Everything else is less important.

Drop sbash and go feint.

The nice thing about paladins is that as you go up in levels you have more training points to distribute. It is tight both mentally and physically early on... but as you grow you are going to find more extra points to train with.

Re-roll to a Bard or Ranger while you still can.
