I garroted this ranger earlier. We were just messing around... But, his wall of thorns canceled the garrote. This must be a bug... right?

[Icemule Trace, Town Center]
The bustling town comes together in this square. Halflings dressed in varying fashions stand about, some chattering happily, others reclining on cloaks laid on the ground. One ancient halfling leans against the base of the large ice statue of a mule, snoring blissfully. A feeling of community pervades the area, putting you immediately at ease. You also see the Diablic disk, some ground haphip, a carved ice bench with some stuff on it and a blanket of snow.
Also here: ***** who is kneeling
Obvious paths: north, east, south, west

>garrote stop
But you aren't garroting anything!

I've got almost 30 trains on this guy and.. his wall of thorns canceled my garrote? We tried it again and when I "garrote stop" -ed it worked normally, even after his wall of thorns poisoned me for zero damage...... ?

I know garrote over all is a piece of shit but invisibly canceling is still bullshit.

It's sort of like armor accessories deflecting cmans. And a lot like flaring armor. Based on the name of the spell alone, makes quite a bit of sense, doesn't it?

I guess it does.

I suppose I was just surprised that the garrote ended without any messaging... I was like "wtf do you mean I'm not garroting anything!?"
